Kanye West has officially unveiled his upcoming album Bully, which is now available for pre-order at £16, along with an exclusive line of merchandise. The album cover, shot by 86-year-old acclaimed Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, features a model sporting a distinctive partially black grill. The grill’s design reportedly nods to Kanye’s recent $850,000 titanium dental work, a unique aesthetic crafted earlier this year by Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly and dental technician Naoki Hayashi.
The bold cover choice for Bully evokes the look of the James Bond villain Jaws, an inspiration for Kanye’s custom dental implants. In response to speculation about the implants, Dr. Connelly clarified in an interview with Complex that Kanye still has his natural teeth and emphasized the rapper’s good dental health.
However, Dr. Connelly has recently faced allegations from Milo Yiannopoulos, who claimed that the dentist introduced Kanye to nitrous oxide, reportedly at a cost of $50,000 a month. Yiannopoulos submitted an affidavit to the California Dental Board seeking the revocation of Dr. Connelly’s license, though Connelly has refrained from making public statements on these claims.

Bully marks a new chapter in Kanye’s musical journey, with reports suggesting he’s taken on the production single-handedly, without outside collaborators. No official release date has been confirmed, but fans can look forward to a fresh creative direction after Kanye’s recent collaborative work with Ty Dolla Sign on Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, which launched earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Kanye’s life has seen other major changes. He and his wife, Bianca Censori, have reportedly moved to Tokyo, where he is dedicating his focus to his music and Bully’s development. On the home front, Kanye’s former wife, Kim Kardashian, is largely handling parenting duties for their four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—while balancing her own career. According to a source close to Kardashian, her life revolves around her children’s schedules, and she’s currently not dating.
Kanye has been open about his struggles with bipolar disorder and is also facing legal challenges, including an ongoing lawsuit from a former assistant who filed additional claims last week. Despite these complexities, Kanye appears committed to pushing creative boundaries with Bully and continues to captivate fans and critics alike with each new artistic endeavor.
