Diddy’s legal team has responded to swirling allegations that surfaced from reports tied to Jamie Foxx’s recent comedy special taping, titled What Had Happened Was. The rumors stem from claims by alleged eyewitnesses at Foxx’s October tapings in Atlanta, where some suggested that Foxx may have accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of wrongdoing. However, Diddy’s team is pushing back strongly, calling the allegations “outlandish, ridiculous, and baseless.”
According to a report by Comedy Hype, the controversy began when videographer and producer Choke No Joke stated that Foxx had implied “something” about Diddy during the taping, further alleging that Foxx had notified federal authorities about the incident. Additionally, celebrity bodyguard Big Homie .CC claimed in a separate interview that Diddy attempted to poison Foxx before the actor’s recent health scare, sparking even more intrigue around the alleged accusations. Diddy’s legal team reportedly responded by clarifying that Foxx’s camp has denied any direct connection to these claims.

Actor Dennis L.A. White, an eyewitness at the comedy special taping, offered his own perspective, sharing with Page Six that any mention of Diddy appeared to be in jest rather than accusation. White added, “People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not. If he was, I would’ve been dead.” White’s account seems to align with reports that Foxx did not make any direct accusations against Diddy or involve law enforcement in the remarks, suggesting that some details might have been misinterpreted.
Beyond the comedy special drama, Diddy’s legal team recently issued statements accusing federal authorities of creating an “illicit” deal with the media to leak unfavorable information against him, which they argue could infringe on his right to a fair trial. Law enforcement officials have refuted these claims, though the allegations continue to be a focal point in Diddy’s legal defense.
