Fans of the legendary Rap lord 2Pac should expect a new posthumous album that is being put together by Katt Williams and will also feature Cardi B

On the recent episode of Suge Knight’s Collect Call podcast, released on Tuesday (January 16), the provocative comedian engaged in a conversation with the incarcerated record executive about an upcoming project centered around ‘Pac.

The co-founder of Death Row Records later inquired, “I heard Cardi B is on the project with you, is that true?”

The comedian responded, “Absolutely.”

Knight remarked, I always say she’s the female version of 2Pac, and Williams responded, “She’s going to mix with him nicely. Everybody that’s on it is a piece of him, in a way.”

Suge also threw shade at Loyal to the Game, the 2004 posthumous album produced by Eminem, branding it the only ‘Pac project that “flopped.”

Katt Williams didn’t disclose additional details about the album, such as the source of 2Pac’s vocals or the attached producers.

Despite over a dozen posthumous ‘Pac albums since his 1996 murder, there are increasing whispers of new material in the works.

In the previous year, reports surfaced that 2Pac’s estate was preparing to release four unreleased songs as part of an upcoming greatest hits album.

Additionally, 2Pac associate E-Love affirmed the imminent arrival of unreleased Battlecat – produced tracks, and DJ Daryl, the producer of “Keep Ya Head Up,” hinted at a new ‘Pac project featuring vocals from his vault.

During their 30-minute conversation, Katt Williams and Suge Knight touched on Jada Pinkett Smith, who shared a close friendship with 2Pac before his passing.

The actress came into focus when Williams mentioned that she coined the term “Katt Pac.” Knight added, “That’s the homegirl; she’s not as crazy as people think she is. She made Will [Smith].”

Katt playfully interjected, saying, “And [she] can make another one,” followed by, “And [she] saved that n-gga’s life in the industry. Queen Beard, the one.”

It’s worth noting that Pinkett Smith had previously shared that Knight was the one who delivered 2Pac’s ashes to her after his passing.

She shares the poignant moment in her memoir, “Worthy,” but provided additional insights during an interview with Extra.

Reflecting on receiving ‘Pac’s ashes, she expressed, “Having to receive ‘Pac’s ashes in that way was a really devastating moment… to just get him in this little cardboard box. And yeah, I was very rageful about the whole thing.”

When asked if she believed Knight was involved in 2Pac’s murder, Pinkett Smith responded, “One thing I’ve learned — not to make assumptions. Lord knows so many assumptions have been made about me of what people think they know front-facing. And there’s always more to the story, so I can’t make assumptions.”
