The 2024 edition of the Coachella Valley and Arts Festival has revealed its much-anticipated lineup, showcasing three notable Afrobeats artists: Tems, Tyla, and Spinall.

On January 16, 2024, the festival organizers officially announced the lineup for the desert stage, featuring familiar headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat, all of whom have graced the festival in previous editions.

Tems, Tyla, and Spinall, notable Afrobeats artists, are making their debut at Coachella, marking a significant milestone that reflects the genre’s global recognition and influence.

North America’s premier festival, renowned for its star-studded lineup, is set to unfold over two weekends from April 12-14 and April 19-21 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

The buzz for the groundbreaking performances by Tems, Tyla, and Spinall intensifies as all 125,000 day tickets have already been sold for Coachella’s 23rd edition. Secure your three-day passes during Coachella’s pre-sale, starting Friday at 11 am PT.

Nigerian music luminaries have left their mark on Coachella since 2019 when Burna Boy notably criticized the festival for featuring his name in small print.

In 2020, the Grammy-nominated Afrobeat sensation Seun Kuti and his Egypt 80 Band captivated the audience.

CKay made his presence felt on the Coachella stage in 2022, and Burna Boy returned in 2023 as one of the prominent supporting acts.

Adding to this legacy, Tems and Spinall are set to make their mark on the renowned Coachella stage with anticipated performances in 2024.
