Nearly three decades after his passing, Tupac Shakur’s legacy continues to thrive—not just through his existing music, but now through never-before-heard tracks that are hitting the market.
A collection of unreleased songs and handwritten lyrics from the rap icon’s early career is currently up for sale for $250,000 through memorabilia site MomentsInTime.com. According to reports from TMZ, these recordings date back to 1990-1991, before Tupac’s meteoric rise with Death Row Records.
During this period, Tupac recorded an album with a group called Jesse and the Kidz. However, the project was abandoned after the death of a band member, leaving at least three tracks—where Tupac served as the lead vocalist—unreleased to the public.
The collection now being sold includes handwritten lyrics and rare audio recordings, offering a glimpse into Tupac’s artistry before he became one of hip-hop’s most influential figures.
While collectors who purchase the album will have private listening access, they will not have the right to publicly release or distribute the music. Control over any official release remains with Tupac’s estate, meaning any public sharing of the tracks would require their approval.
This sale adds another chapter to Tupac’s enduring impact, proving that even decades after his untimely death, his music—both known and unknown—continues to generate interest and excitement in the hip-hop community.
