Renowned singer and songwriter, Trey Songz, is confronting a fresh legal challenge as he faces allegations of sexually assaulting two women during a house party held in 2015.
The lawsuit was recently made public after being obtained by TMZ, and it accuses Trey Songz of sexual assault and battery related to an incident at his Los Angeles-area estate.
According to legal documents, the two women involved initially crossed paths with Trey Songz in June 2015 when they attended one of his concerts and received subsequent invitations to an after-party hosted by the artist. As time passed, these interactions culminated in an invitation to the singer’s home in August, to celebrate his birthday.
Upon their arrival at Trey Songz’s residence, the women claim that they were required to provide a password and surrender their phones for entry. Inside, they found themselves among mostly women with only a few men present.
They allege that they felt pressured to consume alcohol from unsealed bottles. As the evening unfolded, the women claim they began to feel overwhelmingly intoxicated, despite believing they had consumed only a modest amount of alcohol. Their suspicion arises from the possibility of being drugged.

The lawsuit provides a detailed account, asserting that both women sat on a couch near the pool when Trey Songz allegedly approached them and led them to an upstairs bedroom. The women say they eventually lost consciousness, remaining fully clothed. The following morning, both women claim to have awakened in a state of undress, with Trey Songz allegedly engaging in nonconsensual sexual acts.
One of the women alleges that she was subjected to nonconsensual oral sex, and despite her attempts to resist, she was overpowered. The other woman states that she awoke to Trey Songz biting her nipple and forcing his fingers inside her.
After the alleged sexual assaults, the lawsuit contends that Trey Songz demanded they take a shower with him. However, the women refused, leading to an enraged response from the singer, who reportedly yelled at them and called them “little f****** girls,” instructing them to leave his house.
The legal action filed by the two women indicates that they have suffered lasting injuries as a result of the incident and are now seeking damages from Trey Songz. In response to these allegations, Trey Songz’s attorney, Michael Freedman, told TMZ, “This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look-back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court.”
The allegations place Trey Songz in a complex legal situation, and the case is expected to unfold as the legal process takes its course.
