“I think it’s also important to acknowledge something. I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that! It’s a lot of fun,” Noah shared, highlighting his enthusiasm for the event, where he gets to witness the show live and provide his unique commentary.
The Grammy nominations for the upcoming event reflect a diverse array of talents, with SZA leading the pack with nine nods. Recalling last year’s Grammys, Noah showcased his comedic flair during the opening monologue, mingling with A-list guests and poking fun at the likes of Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar. Reflecting on Styles’ fashion, Noah quipped about the singer’s ability to rock any attire, even borrowed panties.
Additionally, he lauded Kendrick Lamar’s album ‘Mr Morale + the Big Steppers,’ calling it a “therapy session that earned him multiple Grammy nominations.”
In a lighter moment, Noah jokingly credited Beyoncé for inspiring his departure from ‘The Daily Show,’ praising her nominated album ‘Renaissance’ as more impressive than anything from the actual Renaissance era. He humorously noted, “I just wish Beyoncé had also written a song about the importance of having savings before you quit your job, but maybe the next one.”
As the anticipation builds for the 2023 Grammy Awards, Trevor Noah’s return promises an entertaining and memorable night for music enthusiasts worldwide.
