Garrett, who says he had been sent on an errand after the concert, alleges that upon his return, Minaj lashed out after learning he had once delegated the task of picking up her prescription to someone else.

Garrett recounts that the 42-year-old rapper became enraged, allegedly shouting, “Are you fing crazy having him pick up my prescription? You have lost your fing mind and if my husband were here, he would knock out your fing teeth.” He claims Minaj went on to threaten him, saying, “You’re a dead man walking. You just fed up your whole life and you will never be anyone, I’ll make sure of it.”

The confrontation reportedly turned physical when Minaj struck Garrett on the side of his face with an open hand, causing his head to snap back and his hat to fall off. Garrett also alleges that as her security team intervened, Minaj hit his wrist, forcing him to drop documents he was holding.

Following the incident, Garrett claims he locked himself in a restroom for hours, fearing for his safety. He further states that he was stranded in Detroit after being denied access to the tour bus traveling to Chicago.

The lawsuit seeks damages for physical pain and emotional suffering. Garrett alleges that the incident left him with lingering pain in his face and wrist and emotional distress due to Minaj’s actions and the threats she allegedly made against his future.
