Muni Long Returns with Sultry New Single “Delulu”

IMG_2665

R&B singer Muni Long is back in her emotional lane with the freshly released single “Delulu”, dropping October 17, 2025. This marks her first musical offering of the year since Revenge and its lead single “Superpowers.” With “Delulu,” she leans into romantic conviction—no reservations, just full belief in a new love.

What “Delulu” Feels Like

On “Delulu,” Muni delivers lyrics that read like a love letter disguised in vulnerability:

“Little do you know that after the last one / I’m not tryna be with you for fun / Yeah, I’m serious / I know we just met, you’re the one / … I’m delusional, delusional.”

In these lines, she fights the urge to play it safe—wanting to show she’s all in, even when logic might say otherwise. The title itself—“Delulu,” slang for “delusional”—signals that she’s aware of the risk, yet embracing it wholeheartedly.

This single runs about four minutes.  It arrives just as Muni Long kicks off her parts on the Boy Is Mine tour with Brandy and Monica—she’s already confirmed she’ll perform it live.

Where It Fits in Her Journey

Muni Long has steadily built her discography from emotional ballads to confident statements. Her 2024 album Revenge explored heartbreak, recovery, and growth.  “Delulu” seems to be her stepping forward into love again—no armor, no guarded walls.

This single arrives at a pivotal moment: her fanbase is watching—what’s next, a full album era? Will she lean more into vulnerability, or double down on empowerment? “Delulu” tips us off she’ll blend both.
