Meek Mill has spoken out against what he describes as a coordinated effort to tarnish his name. The rapper took to social media to express his frustration over ongoing rumors linking him to an alleged relationship with music mogul Diddy. These speculations stem from a lawsuit filed earlier this year by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, accusing Diddy of grooming and claiming a sexual relationship with “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” Although no evidence supports these claims, online chatter has pointed to Meek Mill, leading to widespread speculation.
In a heated post on X (formerly Twitter), Meek Mill directly addressed these allegations and the media outlets amplifying them. “None of these publications are owned by Black men posting things to destroy the names and brands of the culture!” Meek wrote. “Ima stand on this. I know it’s somebody behind this! Ima start a war behind it too when I find out!”

The Philadelphia rapper went further, asserting that these rumors are part of a broader issue targeting Black men. “Just think about it—you are waking up to a bunch of non-Black-owned publications posting major lies about me! Everybody sees what’s going on. I’m not gonna be quiet. It’s a war on Black men!”
The tension escalated after a viral video surfaced in which Meek seemingly rejected any affiliation with Diddy, stating, “No Diddy gang. Meek Milly in real life. Don’t ever disrespect me.” This statement caught the attention of Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, who expressed his disappointment with a simple “Smh” and a face-palm emoji.
While Meek has often been the subject of online criticism, this latest incident seems to have pushed him to his limit. He remains steadfast in his stance, calling out the media for perpetuating narratives he believes are harmful to Black culture.
Despite the controversy, Meek Mill continues to focus on his career and community work, showing no signs of backing down in his fight to protect his name and legacy.
