The 23-year-old actress from “The Little Mermaid” has joyfully welcomed her first child, a son named Halo, with her 26-year-old boyfriend, DDG.

Bailey shared the arrival of her baby boy on Instagram, revealing a photo of her manicured hand intertwined with a tiny one adorned with a gold bracelet inscribed with the name “Halo.”

Bailey and her boyfriend DDG have been in a relationship for over a year. They made their Instagram debut in March 2022 when the founder of Zooted Music record label celebrated the R&B singer’s birthday with a post.


The actress is known for being extremely private about her personal life and chose not to confirm her pregnancy or share details throughout the entire gestation period.

Back in November, Bailey addressed a fan on Snapchat who claimed she had a “pregnancy nose” in a recent photo. In her response, she posted a video stating, “If I encounter one more comment about my nose, there will be consequences.”

“I embrace my nose because I’m Black. I love it,” she continued. “Why are you fixating on my nose? Just let me be.”

In May, Bailey spoke to PEOPLE about life since entering a relationship with DDG. When questioned about labeling him a true Prince Charming, she replied, “Yeah, I would say that.”

“I believe the beauty of young love lies in the ongoing process of self-discovery while loving someone else,” the actress elaborated. “It’s about exploring new facets of yourself and uncovering aspects of your heart that you may not have noticed before.”

In September, the actress shared that her upcoming solo album draws inspiration from her profound experience with “deep, deep love.”

Reflecting on her relationship with DDG, she expressed, “You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that’s love. But this is my first deep, deep, real love.”

Describing this period as a “beautiful transformative time,” the R&B star added, “I have all this new material to write about. It’s like, What the heck did I just experience and go through? A whirlwind of amazingness. You never know what you’re capable of until you’re put through it. I was very creatively inspired, and then from there, I fell in love. And so I really just played with those themes in my music.”
