DDG has found himself at the center of controversy once again after teasing a song that seemingly addresses his ongoing feud with ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey over their one-year-old son, Halo.

The drama unfolded when DDG, a rapper and online personality, took to social media to claim that Bailey was preventing him from seeing their child. His allegations quickly sparked debate online, with many questioning the situation and others siding with Bailey.

Shortly after, Bailey subtly responded by sharing that both she and Halo had been battling an illness and were in quarantine as they recovered. While she didn’t directly acknowledge DDG’s accusations, the timing of her message suggested she was addressing the claims.

However, rather than letting the situation settle, DDG took things a step further by hopping on Twitch to preview a new song titled “Don’t Take My Son.” The track appears to take direct aim at Bailey, with lyrics like:

“Don’t take my son ‘cause he all I got. I’m just having fun, I don’t love these thts. You told me that you gon’ move on but I know you not, tryna make me pay to see my son, that gon’ make me hot.”*

The snippet immediately sparked backlash, with critics accusing DDG of using the sensitive situation for attention. Many pointed out that airing private disputes—especially one involving a child—on social media and through music only escalates tension rather than resolving it.

So far, Bailey has not issued a direct response to the song preview, but her initial post about being sick with Halo suggests she may have already addressed the situation in her own way.

With emotions running high and the internet buzzing, it remains to be seen whether this feud will continue to play out publicly or if both parties will choose a more private resolution moving forward.
