Madeline Argy, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Central Cee, has publicly accused him of cheating on her with fellow artist Ice Spice. Argy shared her side of the story through a series of TikTok posts on Friday, detailing how she discovered the alleged infidelity and the ensuing complications.
Argy explained that she and Central Cee, who began dating in 2022, might have ended their relationship last year. She recounted an incident where Cee played her a verse from a new song, in which he seemingly confessed to cheating. When questioned, Cee allegedly dismissed it as a marketing ploy, revealing he intended to hire an influencer to generate buzz for his music. Argy later learned that Cee had sent his personal car to create a dating rumor with Ice Spice.
“I was with you guys knees deep in that comment section asking if we were still together,” Argy told her viewers. “I tried to have a conversation with him but all he kept saying was, ‘Alright.'”
As the situation unfolded, Argy tried to piece together the truth but struggled to get clear answers. Her suspicions grew when her team inquired about an upcoming trip to Nigeria with Cee, despite the dating rumor with Ice Spice. Determined to maintain her dignity, Argy agreed to go on the trip but insisted that no professional photos of them be posted.

“I’ve just realized what is happening and I don’t want to be seen with this guy,” she explained. “I understand that rapper boyfriend has promotional activities to do, I just don’t want to lose the last shred of my dignity.”
Despite her request, photos of Argy and Cee together in Nigeria were published, leading to backlash from her friends and concern from her team. Argy then realized she had unwittingly become part of Cee’s marketing strategy for his song with Ice Spice, “Did It First.” The track, which discusses infidelity, features the lines:
“If he cheatin’, I’m doin’ him worse (Like)/No Uno, I hit the reverse (Grrah)/I ain’t trippin’, the grip in my purse,” she raps on the song, produced by RIOT. “I don’t care, ’cause he did it first (Like)/If he cheatin’, I’m doin’ him worse.”
Argy expressed her desire to distance herself from the song’s release and avoid further public humiliation. The timing of the Nigeria trip and the release of “Did It First” a month later made her realize the extent of Cee’s alleged manipulation. She decided to end their relationship but found it difficult to reach him.
On July 1, Cee insisted on seeing Argy, calling her late at night. He told her, “Because you need to remember that I’m a human being when you see what you’re going to see tomorrow.” The next day, photos of Cee with Ice Spice in London surfaced, confirming Argy’s suspicions.
Argy concluded that this was the final straw, and she cut off all contact with Cee. She shared her story to highlight the challenges of dating a public figure and to reclaim her narrative.
