In connection with a recent incident where 50 Cent threw a microphone, causing a woman to sustain a bloody forehead gash, the rapper may face battery charges. Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain, the victim of the incident, filed a police report on the same night. According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, it is believed that 50 Cent threw the mic at his crew in the production area but hit Monegain instead.

Monegain informed the police that 50 Cent made direct eye contact with her before throwing the mic, leading her to believe that the rapper was aware of her presence. In response, 50 Cent’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, stated, “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

The incident occurred during 50 Cent’s performance at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena as part of his Final Lap Tour. Frustrated by repeatedly receiving broken microphones, the rapper can be seen in videos and photos growing agitated while YG performed on stage alongside him. On two occasions, 50 Cent angrily threw the broken mics into the crowd, with one of them hitting the radio personality.

Upon hearing the news, 50 Cent’s long-time rival, The Game, took to his Instagram Story to criticize the rapper, accusing him of assaulting women during his visit to Los Angeles. However, amidst the controversy, 50 Cent had a positive moment during the show when he brought out Nas as a special guest, much to the delight of the crowd. Nas praised 50 Cent for his groundbreaking debut album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” and credited him with transforming the rap game.

Notably, 50 Cent recently reunited with Nas on the track “Office Hours” from Nas’ album “Magic 2,” marking their first collaboration in over 20 years.
