Ghanaian music sensation, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has opened up about the driving forces behind his continued journey in music. Despite his remarkable success, the ‘Lomo Lomo’ hitmaker revealed that his motivation stems from a blend of his future goals, love for family, and dedication to his son.

In a candid conversation on Ultimate FM’s Morning Swing, KiDi shared that there are times when his energy wanes, and he doesn’t feel the urge to perform. However, the thought of his son, mother, and loved ones always gives him the push he needs to keep going.

“One thing that motivates me is the vision of where I am trying to get to and my family, my son, my mom… On days when I don’t feel like being an artiste, when I don’t feel like singing, when I think of all of these people, I wake up and soldier on,” KiDi expressed.

The musician also shed light on one of his biggest fears – poverty. For KiDi, financial freedom is essential not just for personal comfort but for creating meaningful moments with loved ones and making a positive impact on others.

“My parents taught me early in life that having fun is part of this life. The life that I want to live with my loved ones and friends is one of merry-making and enjoying ourselves,” he said. “Without money, you cannot do that. You cannot also make an impact in other people’s lives.”
