JAY-Z enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation following a recent social media update from a potential collaborator, hinting at the imminent release of a new album.
On Sunday (January 28), video director Hidji shared glimpses of an upcoming production on his Instagram Stories, including a geotagged video set in “Atlanta, GA” with the Outkast classic “Player’s Ball” as the soundtrack. He also posted a screenshot of a text exchange hinting at exciting developments.
In response to his friend’s question about his current project, Hidji sent a text saying, “Jay Z,” accompanied by a photo of a clapperboard revealing the production title as “JAY Z – 2024 ALBUM.”
Yet, when rumors started circulating on Sunday, Roc Nation’s official account on X (formerly Twitter) addressed one post, stating, “That’s news to us.”
