Quavo finds himself in the spotlight for his acting debut alongside John Travolta in the newly released heist film, “Cash Out” – but not all reviews are glowing.
Following the film’s release on Friday, clips featuring the Migos star as the character Anton alongside Travolta’s career criminal character, Mason, have circulated online. The movie follows Mason, enticed by the prospect of his biggest heist yet, as he collaborates with Anton.
Amidst the buzz, Akademiks shared a clip from “Cash Out,” which is currently in select theaters and available for rental on VOD. While some viewers praised Chris Brown, with whom Quavo has ongoing tensions, others weren’t as complimentary of Quavo’s acting chops.
Comments on the clip highlighted critiques of Quavo’s performance, with one person expressing, “Damn Chris can out act this n-gga too,” while another commented, “he can’t act to save his life.” A sentiment of embarrassment was echoed in another comment: “His acting sucks omg this is embarrassing what in the tubi is going on.”
