Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up once again for the release of their latest album, “Vultures 2.” This follows their earlier collaboration from February, “Vultures 1.” The new album boasts an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Young Thug, 070 Shake, Future, Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and even West’s children, North and Chicago.
The anticipation for “Vultures 2” has been building since before the release of its predecessor. Initially, West announced that the second and third installments of the “Vultures” series would drop on March 8 and April 5, respectively. However, there has been little news regarding the third volume since then. In a March interview with Hypebeast, West mentioned that the albums would be released independently through his own platforms, though “Vultures 2” is also available on major digital streaming services.
For West, releasing music independently may reflect a desire for authenticity. This move comes after a series of controversies, including wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt and making antisemitic comments, which led to the loss of significant commercial partnerships, such as his deal with Adidas and his contract with the Creative Artists Agency.

In late 2022, West issued an apology to the Jewish community, expressing deep regret for any harm caused and a commitment to promoting greater sensitivity and understanding. While the Anti-Defamation League welcomed his apology, the American Jewish Committee found it “bizarre and possibly a ploy to gain more attention.” There were also claims that the apology might have been generated using artificial intelligence.
Despite the controversies, “Vultures 1” achieved commercial success, debuting at the top of the Billboard 200. The track “Carnival,” featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. West and Ty Dolla $ign also held multiple listening events for “Vultures 1” and headlined Rolling Loud California.
Ty Dolla $ign’s last solo studio album was 2020’s “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.” His collaborative history with West includes hits like “FourFiveSeconds,” “Real Friends,” “Fade,” “Ego Death,” “Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2),” and “Everything We Need.” “Vultures 2” is expected to build on this legacy, offering fans another blend of their distinctive styles.
With “Vultures 2” now available, fans of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have plenty to look forward to. As they navigate the complexities of independent releases and public scrutiny, the duo continues to push the boundaries of their musical collaboration, adding yet another chapter to their storied partnership.
