Burna Boy, Luke Combs, and Travis Scott are set to join the star-studded lineup of performers for the Grammys 2024, as announced by the Recording Academy. The prestigious event is scheduled to take place at the Crypto.com Arena.

Confirmation of the trio’s participation came during the NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. This revelation, reported by deadline.com, adds Burna Boy, Luke Combs, and Travis Scott to the impressive roster, which already includes renowned artists like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo.

The 66th annual Grammy Awards are slated for February 4, promising an unforgettable night of musical excellence.

Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo have been unveiled as the initial performers for the upcoming Grammy Awards. This exciting news was shared during a promotional segment on CBS’ coverage of the Buffalo Bills-Pittsburgh Steelers NFL playoff game.

The trio, boasting a combined total of 13 Grammys, is set to deliver captivating performances. Eilish and Rodrigo, both with six nominations each this year, are anticipated to go head-to-head in categories such as Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Collaborating on the Monster Barbie soundtrack, Eilish and Lipa find themselves nominated for a remarkable 11 Grammys. Eilish’s five nominations and Lipa’s two are specifically recognized for their contributions to “What Was I Made For?” and “Dance the Night.”

The hosting duties for this year’s ceremony will be reprised by Trevor Noah, according to reports from deadline.com.

The field of nominations for the 2024 Grammys is led by SZA with an impressive nine nominations, encompassing categories such as Record, Album, and Song of the Year for ‘Kill Bill’ and SOS. Other notable contenders include Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monet, each securing seven nominations. Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Eilish, Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift follow closely with six nominations each.

Nigerian singer and previous Grammy winner Burna Boy is nominated for four awards this year, including Best Global Music Album (“I Told Them…”), Best African Music Performance (“City Boys”), Best Global Music Performance (“Alone”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Sittin’ on Top of the World”). Combs is up for Best Country Solo Performance (“Fast Car”) and Scott is nominated for Best Rap Album (“Utopia”).
