Afrobeats star Asake has once again captivated the music world with the release of his third studio album, Lungu Boy. The highly anticipated album was unveiled in the early hours of Friday, adding another chapter to Asake’s rapidly growing legacy in the Afrobeats genre.

Lungu Boy is a 13-track project that showcases Asake’s signature sound while also featuring collaborations with some of the biggest names in global music. Among the artists joining him on this album are Afrobeats heavyweight Wizkid, British rapper Stormzy, American rap icon Travis Scott, UK’s Central Cee, and Brazilian sensation Ludmilla. Each collaboration brings a unique flavor to the album, blending various styles and influences into a cohesive musical journey.

As a special addition, Asake included a bonus track titled ‘Fuji Vibe’, which pays homage to his Nigerian musical roots.

This release follows Asake’s previous albums, Mr Money With The Vibes (2022) and Work of Art (2023), both of which solidified his position as one of Afrobeats’ most exciting and innovative artists.
