Rick Ross’ ongoing feud with Drake escalated into violence at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver on Sunday, marking a dramatic turn in their long-standing beef. The altercation occurred after Ross played Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” which has gained significant popularity worldwide.
As Ross concluded his set and exited the stage, he and his entourage were confronted by a group of men reportedly upset about the song choice. While it remains unclear if these individuals have any direct affiliation with Drake or his OVO crew, the situation quickly turned hostile.
Witnesses reported that the confrontation began with a heated exchange of words, escalating when one of the men punched Ross in the face. This ignited an all-out brawl, with both sides throwing punches and causing chaos.

Rick Ross has publicly shown his appreciation for “Not Like Us” since its release. He was seen playing the track at a Las Vegas party on the day it dropped and attended Kendrick Lamar’s concert in Inglewood, California, on June 19, where the song was performed repeatedly.
Ross’ support for Lamar’s diss track is unsurprising given his history with Drake. Drake dissed Ross on his track “Push Ups,” prompting a rare response from Ross. Known for his trolling tactics in hip-hop, Ross has seemingly relished the chance to see his rival challenged by another heavyweight in the industry.
